A Festival of British Masterpieces

Class Description

Welcome to the Lifetime Learning Center of Seattle’s Fall 2023 Festival of British Masterpieces! The course will span the entire history of British music, from the Middle Ages to our own era (yes, the 21st century). We will also include some Scandinavian Masterworks. After all, part of Grieg’s family came from Scotland, and part of Gustav Holst’s family came from Norway. Also, as the Seattle Symphony is featuring works by William Walton and Ralph Vaughn-Williams this season, we'll have discussion of their works in preparation. Cancellation Policy

Class fees will be refunded 100% if an instructor cancels class or a student drops before the second meeting of the class.
