Daily Life in Hitler’s Germany

Class Description

The class will read and discuss personal memory stories based on oral history interviews with post-World War II German immigrants to the US. Included are moving accounts of Jewish life, membership in youth organizations, fire bombings during the war, traumatic escape from advancing Russian soldiers, and more. The book Voices from a World at War by Christiane Faris is available for $5 in the office. Mondays, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm In Person: B2 Class Limit: 10; Class Minimum: 6

Class fees will be refunded 100% if an instructor cancels class or a student drops before the end of the first week of classes. Registration fees are non-refundable
