Class Description

Howards End, generally considered as significant as passage to India, is Forster's most direct examination of the social and economic changes occurring in England in the years before the Great War. It explores the uneasy relationship between the artistic/literary/intellectual circles and the increasingly wealthy business class, as well as related gender issues. *Please note: This class will be recorded and the link will be sent out after each class.
