Class Description
Gentle Yoga with Optional Meditation (last 20 minutes of class) Each body is unique, and we all experience yoga differently. This gentle and adaptive Hatha yoga class can help develop a better understanding of how your body moves. Beginning with attention to the breath, then moving to slow warm-ups helps the body and mind connect. A focus on moving at your own pace allows each person to listen to the needs of their body, and move safely throughout the class. Working from the floor or a chair and moving to a standing position, we will explore different postures (asana) and experience different adaptations. We end each class with gentle stretching and breath, inspired by the Kripalu tradition. The optional meditation begins with a breath practice. Then we will try out different ways to settle into meditation. Jai bhagwan, Namaste. Bring a yoga mat. A yoga block and/or blanket are optional. There are no hands-on corrections. This class is verbally guided with demonstrations as needed. ZOOM Thursday: 11:15am - 12:45am Class Limit: 15

Class fees will be refunded 100% if an instructor cancels class or a student drops before the second meeting of the class.
