Class Description

Improve Balanced Walking with Feldenkrais Lessons Would you like to experience more balanced walking? Could neuroplasticity help you accomplish that? The Feldenkrais Method® helps us learn easier movement, with increased flexibility and balance, while possibly reducing chronic pain. Join us online or in person for small, slow movement variations that communicate with the brain. In the fall session we will focus on elements of balanced walking, such as flexible ankles, support for the knees, opening the hips, balancing the head on top of the spine, and looking forward rather than down while walking. Please note that these lessons are not aerobics or strength exercise. No experience needed. Lessons may be done lying on a mat on the floor or seated in flat-bottomed chairs. Wear comfortable clothing. All participants will be asked to agree to a liability release form. *Please note: Gail is teaching on Zoom and in person at the same time; sign up for one format only. In Person: Class Limit 12 ZOOM: Class Limit 50 Tuesday 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Class fees will be refunded 100% if an instructor cancels class or a student drops before the end of the first week of classes. Registration fees are non-refundable
