Indigenous Peoples of North America, Part I This spring, LLC will launch a six part series on the status, past and future of Indigenous Peoples of North America. We have received generous planning support from the Center for Worldwide Indigenous Studies and the Burke Museum. This spring’s program will focus on a review of legal, cultural and historic legacies, a summary of major new trends, including development of First Nations media, Indigenous economies and a recapture of language, and an in-depth look at societies of the Pacific Northwest Coast.
