Learning to Read Music

Class Description

Learn a new language in only eight weeks--the language of music! You will learn names of notes on the staff, note values, meter, key signatures, musical terms and symbols, and more. The class is designed for people who have no prior knowledge of music notation as well as those who learned music notation in the past and want a refresher. By the end of the class you will be able to write a short piece of music!   In Person: Room B2 Tuesdays: 2:00pm - 3:00pm Class Limit: 12

Cancellation Policy

Class fees will be refunded 100% if an instructor cancels class or a student drops before the second meeting of the class.
