About the Event
I’ve traveled to Cuba three times, over a 30-year period, most recently in January of this year. In this slideshow presentation, I will briefly chart Cuba's foray into tourism as an economic activity from 1902 until the present. The emphasis is on what Cuba offers today and the challenges it faces in competition with other Caribbean travel options.
