About the Event
The Science of Interstellar Travel explores the question: Is it possible for humans to travel to the stars in time frames suitable for human exploration?  It can’t be done using rockets, that is for certain. But are there other ways?
Boeing Technical Fellow Jamie Childress will explore the options of space drives and relativistic effects that might make a trip to the nearest stars very possible. The possibilities and the science behind it will surprise even the most studied space fan.  If we could do it, could other civilizations as well?
