About the Event
Trying to make sense of conflict in the Middle East is difficult. Since the end of the First World War it has been continuous and shows no sign of ending soon. The purpose of this talk is to clarify five major sources that drive this conflict. At times acting independently, at other times converging, they produce a human maelstrom that often makes many feel uncomfortable with whatever position or perspective they take. This talk will hopefully help clarify these forces and why they seem so intractable. Also, several myths and items of misinformation will hopefully be retired.
Please send your questions about this to the presenter so he can prepare answers in advance.
