Creative Writing

Class Description

During this class, you, as a writer, will be encouraged to tap into your thoughts and exercise your creativity. This is not a workshop where people critique the writing. Students are offered phrases, propositions, poetic references, trinkets, questions, and quotes that aim to provoke a response. The leader presents the prompt and allows around 10 minutes to write. Participants then read their work. Sharing is voluntary, although participants are always interested in hearing how others respond to the same prompts. No writing experience necessary.
