Framers of the Constitution

Class Description

With all of President Trump's actions that fall outside the expected norms of presidential behavior, one can legitimately ask: “What did the Framers of the constitution intend for the government they created?” In this course I will attempt to answer that question. Some aspects of this course are unusual for a summer course, so be sure to read all of the following before you sign up: 1) It will be a lecture course using Zoom; there will be no in-person section.  2) The classes will be recorded with the link sent out after each class. 3) There will be no reading for the class; just come and listen.  4) There will be a lecture for about an hour and time for questions after that. 5) Most unusual of all, it is uncertain how many classes it will take to cover this topic – certainly eight weeks and possibly more – so it might continue into September. *Please note: This class may be up to 8 sessions (or more) beginning July 6th.
