Class Description
America protects controversial speech more strongly than almost anywhere. It's been a charged topic in recent years, from Nazis on Twitter to Free Palestine rallies. Let's learn about how the limits of free speech have evolved throughout our history, through Supreme Court cases and changing norms. This will be more of a discussion than some other classes Jerry has offered. *PLEASE NOTE: this class is held May 4th, 6th, 11th, & 13th, Mondays & Wednesdays, for a total of 4 sessions.
